dOMINICAN rEPUBLIC ~ Miller Super Party. Las Vegas Nevada 3 to 7 de feb. of 2006. (http://www.miller.com.do)
“Super Party”: two words that together express the experience of living a wonderful episode of our lives. Within the last 2 years, we have covered more than 800 parties, but of all of them, this one has been the most important to our country. The fact of Dominicans being part of an international group of people in events like this, not only gives us the gratitude of the cultural interchange but also the recognition of our country around the world.
Miller carried out the final raffle of "Miller Super Party" in Outback, Dominican Republic, in December of 2005 where the winners were: José de Moya, Manuel Garrigó, Fabiola Núñez, Eva Tavares, Mr. Edward Yunen (Francifol) as special guest, and Alberto Martínez (Director of BUFEO.com), all accompanied by Carolina Henríquez (International Brands Manager) and William Luna (International Brands Marketing Manager).
EE.UU. Canada, Mexico, Australia, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, US Virgin Islands and, of course, the Dominican Republic, are some of the countries that participated in this event and took their flights to Las Vegas, Nevada. About 800 persons stayed at the Paris Hotel in double rooms, and about 386 persons at Bally's. The winners and special guests enjoyed their visit during 3 nights, all-covered thanks to Miller. Everybody received special gifts and a MasterCard credit card with 500 dollars. An estimate of $4,625.00 US Dollars was spent per person.
Las Vegas, Nevada is an amazing place. As soon as you arrive to the airport you can find gambling machines all around; people play while they wait for the luggage! Airport’s flights activity (commercial and private) reveals the interest of millions in that place; high traffic is also evident due the arrival and departure of hundreds of airplanes. As a matter of fact, our return flight had to wait for 7 airplanes to departure in order for ours to take off.
But finally, we arrived to Las Vegas, Nevada at the perfect time: “the night”. The most impressive of this city are the hotels, they are huge and each of them has its particular theme or is a replica of an important place of a country.
On the night of February 3rd, a party was already waiting for us at the PURE Nightclub at Caesar’s Palace (3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South). What can we say…? An excellent VIP treatment plus a lot of nice people, additionally some of the hottest girls dancing with all their charm and doing their best to keep your hands on Miller’s bottles full and cold… What a night!
February 4th, afternoon, a very long and intense walk through the most important malls (Fry’s Electronics, Las Vegas Premium Outlets, Las Vegas Outlets Center), and of course, the hotels. At night we went to the performance of “O” by the Cirque Du Soleil (http://www.cirquedusoleil.com), one of the most spectacular presentations that takes place over, around and in the water. Acrobats, synchronized swimmers, artists, all of them were performing on an aquatic stage, where the art, the surrealism and the romance of this theater of water conceive one of the most amazing experiences ever. Every month more than 75,000 persons behold two presentations each day. There are three more Cirque du Soleil with more performances (Mystere, KÁ y Zumanity), and they are found just a few minutes away in other hotels. Most of these performances are only open at Las Vegas, Nevada, what makes them another good reason for thousands of people to visit the city to enjoy this show made with technology, an outstanding human talent, in a dance of lights and the rhythm of a live music orchestra!
Afternoon, February 5th, dozens of big luxurious buses transporting the winners of the Miller Super Party to JILLIAN’S (450 Fremont Street) where we all shared with the guests and enjoyed a delicious buffet, lots of cold Millers, and the Super Bowl.
This year the Super Bowl took place at Detroit Michigan. During the halftime performance the stadium was turned into a super nightclub, with the performance of The Rolling Stones.
During the night of February 5th, we took a walk at “Fremont Street” (http://www.vegasexperience.com/viva.cfm) and watched the famous dazzling high-tech displays long enough to cover 5 Football stadiums. It is the longest display of the planet, created by LG with12.5 millions of synchronized LED modules fed through a 550,000 watt concert-quality sound system.
Miller Super Party is an international event, in which the brand gathers people from different countries with a common purpose: enjoy one of the most significant sports events in the continent. EE.UU., Canada, Mexico, Australia, Puerto Rico, Bahamas and, of course, the Dominican Republic were just some of the countries that joined in this musical and sportive event.
In the Dominican Republic, Miller Super Party represents the efforts of Cervecería Nacional Dominicana and the Miller brand, to compensate their consumers for their loyalty and companionship, by means of activities that satisfy their personalities and their desires.
An amazing experience that you can enjoy in our photo gallery. Wait for the video walk-around coming soon only at BUFEO.com. Don’t forget to have your cold Miller, and enjoy it.
